Tasty Mutton Curry | Meat Kuzhambu - Easy Pressure Cooking Method

Goat Meat Curry | Mutton Kuzhambu

Ingredients :

Mutton kulambu Ingredients
Mutton - 250 gm (chopped)
Shallots - 100 gm
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cinnamon Stick - 2 no (2" long)
Cloves - 4 no
Coriander Leaves for Garnish
Oil - 3 tbsp
Water - 2 cup
Salt to taste.
Method :

Steps To Make Mutton / Meat Curry :

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker pan, roast the cinnamon sticks and cloves.
  • Add the shallots and mutton pieces, stir well until the mutton moisture reduced.
  • Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder and required salt and saute for an minute or till its raw smell leaves. (this stage will helps the mutton curry / kulambu to becomes reddish colour)
  • Pour the water, mix well and bring to boil.
  • Cook for 1 whistle and 15min in simmer.
  • When all the steam has escaped, open the pressure cooker, add coriander leaves, mix all and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion :

Serve hot with Mutton Sukka and Mutton Masala Sukka.
