Butter Paneer Masala

Ingredients :

Butter Paneer Masala Ingredients

Paneer - 200gm (click here : how to make home-made paneer )
Onion - 1 no (paste)
Tomato - 3 no (puree)
Cashew nut - 30 no (powder)
Garlic - 5nos (or Garlic paste- 1/2 tsp)
Ginger - 1" long  (or Ginger paste 1/2 tsp)
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tsp
Fresh Cream - 2 tbsp
Kasoori Methi - 1 tbsp (crushed)
Water - 1cup
Salt to taste.

Method :

Steps To make Butter Panner Masala :

  • Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add onion and saute until the onion becomes light brown colour.
  • Stir in ginger garlic paste until its raw smell leaves.
  • Add tomato puree, mix well and cook until the tomato water has reduced. 
  • Add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala and turmeric powder, mix well and saute until its raw smell leaves.
  • Add paneer and cook for an minute.
  • Pour water, mix well and cook for another 2min, stir in between.

  • Add cashewnuts, sugar and required salt, mix them and again cook for about 2min.
  • Finally add fresh cream and kasoor methi, one by one, mix them and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve Hot with Poori and Chapati.
