Creamy Spicy Chicken Gravy

 Ingredients :

Creamy Spicy Chicken Gravy Ingredients

Chicken - 250 gm (boneless, 2" long)
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Tomato - 1 no (chopped)

Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Cashew-nut Powder - 2 tbsp
Green Chili - 1 no (chopped)
Cinnamon Stick - 2 no (2" long)
Cloves - 3 no
Cardamom - 2 no
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp + Garnish (chopped)
Fresh Cream - 2 tbsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Oil for fry.

To Marinate : ( half an hour)

Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste.

Method :


  • Marinate chicken pieces with mentioned ingredients for half an hour. 
  • Shallow fry the marinated chicken in simmer and keep aside. 
Steps To Make Creamy Spicy Chicken Gravy :
  • Heat butter in a pan, roast cinnamon sticks, cloves and cardamom.
  • Add onion and saute until light golden brown colour.
  • And ginger garlic paste, saute until raw smell leaves.
  • Add tomato and green chili, stir well and cook until tomato becomes tender.
  • Add fried chicken pieces, saute for an minute.
  • Add cashewnut powder, coriander leaves, water and required salt for gravy, cook for 2 to 3 min in simmer.


  • Finaly add fresh cream, mix well, remove from flame and ready to serve .


Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Dosa, Idly or Chapati.
