Cashew-nuts - 100 gm (coarsely ground)
Sugar - 50 gm
Water - 1/4 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp
# Don't Use Milk.
# Weight and Cup measurements are not same. |
Preparation :
- Grease the aluminium tray with a tablespoon of ghee and keep aside.

Steps To Make The Cashewnut | Kaju | Munthiri Burfi :
- Heat the sugar and water together in a non-stick pan, mix well, bring to boil and cook til in to a one string stage. (ie., drop of sugar syrup leaves one
string between two fingers)

- Add ground cashew-nut powder and stirring continuously in simmer.

- Cook until in a thick gravy consistency and finally add the remaining tablespoon of ghee, mix well and remove from the flame .

- Now transfer the cashew-nut mixture in to the aluminium tray, after few minutes, grease
knife with ghee and mark required shape and decorate with cashew-nuts. Allow to cool completely and ready to serve.
