Creamy Coconut Milk Chicken Gravy | தேங்காய் பால் கோழிக்கறி குருமா | Thengai Paal Kozhi Kari Korma \ Kurma
Ingredients :
Chicken - 250 gm (chopped)
Coconut Milk - 1 cup (1/4 coconut)
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Tomato - 1 no (chopped)
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves for Garnish
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste.
To Grind Into Fine Paste
:
Cashew-nut - 20 no
Poppy Seeds - 1 tsp
Method :
Steps To Make Creamy Coconut Milk Gravy
:
Heat oil in a pressure cooker pan, add onion and saute until slightly golden brown colour.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute until its raw smell leaves.
Add tomato, stir well and cook till the tomato becomes tender.
Add turmeric powder and red chili powder, saute for few seconds.
Add chicken pieces and saute until the chicken moisture has reduced completely.
Then add coconut milk, mentioned ground paste, coriander leaves and required salt, mix well.
Close the lid, cook for 1 whistle and 5min in simmer.
When all the steam has escaped, open the lid and garnish with coriander leaves and ready to serve.
Serving Suggestion : Serve with Chapati or Naan.
