Simple Soft Fluffy Idli / Idly

Making the Idli / Idly :

  • Grease one or more idli / idly pans well with ghee or vegetable oil (or) use wet white cloth.


  • Spoon the batter into the round indentations of the idli / idly pans.


  •  Steam for 10 - 15 mins. To remove the idli / idly from the white cloth pans, pour little water around each idli / idly and then remove easily. Use sharp knife or thin spatula to remove Idli/Idly directly from pan.

Simple Soft Fluffy Idli / Idly

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Sambar and Coconut Chutney.
