Ingredients :

Crab - 500gm (cleaned, washed)
Shallots - 100gm (or) Large Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Large Tomato - 3 nos (chopped)
Garlic - 6 cloves
Ginger - 1" long (chopped)
Red Chili Powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder  - 1 and 1/2tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Peppercorn Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Curry Leaves - 2 stks
Fresh Coconut Milk - 1 cup (1/4 coconut)
Oil - 3 tbsp
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt to Taste.

Method :

Steps To Make Nandu Gravy :
  • Grind ginger, garlic and onion together coarsely and keep aside.
  • Also grind the tomatoes separately into fine paste and keep aside.

  • In a kadai \ frying pan, add all ingredients one by one, mix well and then turn on the stove and bring to boil.
  • Close the lid and cook for 10 to 15 minutes in low flame or til gravy consistency, saute in between and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with White Rice.
