Dry Chicken Gravy with Mint, Coriander and Curd


Ingredients :

Dry Chicken Gravy with Mint, Coriander and Curd

Chicken - 500 gm (chopped)
Mint Leaves - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Curd - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Tomato - 1/2 no (chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (chopped 2" long)
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Fennel Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon Stick - 2 nos (2" long)
Cloves - 4 nos
Cardamon - 2 nos
Curry Leaves - 1 stks
Oil - 2 tbsp
Water - 1 cup
Salt to taste.

Ingredients :

Dry Chicken Gravy with Mint, Coriander and Curd

  • Heat Oil in a Kadai, roast Cinnamon Stick, Cardamom and Cloves, then add Onion and Curry Leaves, saute until light golden colour.
  • Add Ginger and Garlic Paste, saute until raw smell leaves.
  • Add Tomato and Green Chili, saute until Tomato smash well.
  • Now add Curd, Mint Leaves and Coriander Leaves, saute for few seconds.

Dry Chicken Gravy with Mint, Coriander and Curd

  • Now add Chicken pieces and saute its moisture reduced completely.
  • Add Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Seeds Powder, Fennel Seeds Powder, Pepper Powder, Turmeric Powder and required Salt, saute until raw smell leaves.
  • Add Water and close the lid, cook for 25 Min's to 30 Min's in simmer.
  • Stir well, cook until thick gravy consistency and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Chicken Curry
