Chicken - 500 gm (chopped) Basmati Rice - 2 cups Coconut Milk - 2 cups Curd - 1/2 cup Large Onion - 2 nos (chopped) Tomato - 2 nos (chopped) Curry Leaves - 2 stks Mint Leaves - 1 cup Coriander Leaves - 1 cup (chopped) Lemon Juice - 1 no Bay Leaves - 2 nos Cinnamon Stick - 3 nos (2" long) Cardamom - 3 nos Cloves - 5 nos Star Anise - 2 nos Fennel Seeds - 1/2 tsp Water - 1 cup Ghee - 2 tbsp Salt to taste. To Grind into Paste : Small Onion - 20 to 25 nos Ginger - 3" long (chopped) Garlic - 1 whole Green Chili - 12 to 15 nos |

Tried the biryani yesterday for dinner, turned out delicious. Not so spicy, the chicken pieces are succlent(first time I cooked chicken with the skin on as shown in
the image) and so flavourful because of the coconut milk. What to say my fussy eating daughter asked for second serving.
