Mutton Kofta Gravy | Goat Meat Balls Gravy Recipe -Indian Cuisine

Ingredients for Koftas :
Mutton - 250 gm (boneless and grind into paste)
Besan flour - 2 tbsp
Grated Large Onion - 1 no (squeeze water and use it for gravy)
Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger and Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Egg - 1 no
Salt to taste.
" Don't over wash raw meat as it tends to absorb water "

Ingredients for Gravy :
Large Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Thick Coconut Milk - 1 cup
Tomatoes - 3 nos (boiled, skinned and paste)
Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger and Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
Water - 2 cups
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste. |
Steps To Make The Mutton Kofta \ Meat Balls : (above image)
- In a bowl, mix the ground mutton, besan flour, grated onion, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, green chili and required salt, then add the required beaten egg and knead in to soft kofta dough.
- Shape into small balls and deep fry them till golden brown and keep aside.

Steps To The Mutton Kofta Gravy \ Meat Balls Gravy :
- Heat oil in a pan \ kadhai, saute the onion and ginger garlic paste till light golden colour.
- Add in the red chili powder, garam masala powder and turmeric powder, saute until raw smell leaves.
- Stir in the tomato paste few seconds.

- Then add the coconut milk, water and required salt, mix well and bring to boil.
- Add in the fried koftas, cover and cook for 15mins (+ or -) over low flame, by stirring frequently.
- Finally add the coriander leaves, mix gently and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Naan, Chapati, Bread or Poori... |
