Simple Mutton Sukka


Ingredients :

Simple Mutton Sukka

Mutton - 250 gm (boneless and chopped)
Small Onion - 1/2 cup (chopped)
Coriander Powder - 3/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Dry Red Chili - 2 nos
Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Curry Leaves - 1 stks
Water - 3/4 cup
Salt to Taste. 

To Roast and Powder :

Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Pepper -1/4 tsp

Method :

Simple Mutton Sukka

  • In a Pressure Cooker Pan, add Water, Mutton, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, required Salt, Ginger and Garlic Paste, cook for 1 whistle and 15mins in simmer.
  • When all the steam has escaped, open Pressure Cooker.

  • Now Heat Oil in a Kadai, add Onion, Dry Red Chili and Curry Leaves, saute until light golden colour.
  • Add cooked Mutton and saute until there should not be Water.
  • Add Cumin Seeds Powder and Pepper Powder, saute for few seconds.
  • Finally add Coriander Leaves and again saute for few seconds, ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Mutton Curry or Mutton Bone Curry
