Simple Paneer Peas Pulao


Ingredients :

Simple Paneer Peas Pulao

Paneer / Cottage Cheese - 1/2 cup (cubes)
Fresh Peas / Mutter - 1/2 cup
Basmati Rice - 1 cup (soaked for 15mins)
Mint Leaves - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Green Chili - 2 nos (2"long chopped)
Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Bay Leaves - 2 nos
Cloves - 3 nos
Water - 1 and 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt to Taste.

Method :

Simple Paneer Peas Pulao

  • First Heat Oil and Ghee in a Pressure Cooker, roast Bay Leaves and Cloves, add Onion and Green Chili, saute until light golden brown.
  • Add Ginger & Garlic Paste, saute until raw smell leaves.
  • Then add Mint Leaves and saute for few seconds.

  • Then add Fresh Peas and saute for 1 minute.
  • Add soaked Rice and saute for 1 minute.
  • Finally add Water and Required Salt.
  • Close the lid and cook for 1 whistle and 3 - 5 mins in simmer.

  • Now Deep fry Paneer cubes until golden brown.
  • Then when all the steam has escaped, open Pressure Cooker, add fried Paneer cubes, mix well and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Fried Eggs.
