Tasty Egg Curry


Ingredients :

Tasty Egg Curry

Boiled Egg - 4 no (slice into two)
Raw Egg - 1 no
Small Onion - 100gm (or) Onion - 2 no (chopped)
Tomato - 1 no (chopped)
Garlic - 7 cloves
Green Chili - 2 no (chopped)
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cinnamon Stick - 2 nos (2" long)
Cloves -  3 nos
Cardamom - 2 nos

Curry Leaves - 1 stks
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Water - 2 cups
Oil - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste.


To Grind into fine Paste :

Coconut - 1/4 cup
Poppy Seeds - 1 tsp

Method :

Tasty Egg Curry

  • Heat Oil in a Pan, roast Cardamom, Cinnamon Stick and Cloves.
  • Add Onion, Garlic and Curry Leaves, saute until light golden colour.
  • Add Green Chili and Tomatoes, saute until tomatoes small well.
  • Add Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder and ground Coconut and Poppy Seeds paste, saute for few minutes.
  • Add Water and required Salt, bring to boil, close the lid and cook for 5mins in simmer.


  • Now add raw egg, saute little and cook for 2-3mins in simmer.
  • Then add Hard Boiled Eggs and Coriander Leaves, again close the lid and cook for 2mins in simmer, ready to serve.

Tasty Egg Curry

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Hot Pepper Chicken
