Red Snapper / Sankara - Dry Gravy Fish Fry


Ingredients :

Red Snapper / Sankara - Dry Gravy Fish Fry

Red Snapper / Sankara - 4 nos (cleaned, washed)
Small Onion - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Crushed Garlic - 10 nos
Dry Red Chili - 5 nos
Curry Leaves - 2 stks
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Water - 1/4 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste.

Method :

Red Snapper / Sankara - Dry Gravy Fish Fry

  • Heat Oil in a Kadai, add Onion, Garlic, Dry Red Chili and Curry Leaves, saute until light golden colour.
  • Then add Coriander Powder and Pepper Powder saute until raw smell leaves.
  • Add Water and required Salt, Bring to boil.

Red Snapper / Sankara - Dry Gravy Fish Fry

  • Then add Fish pieces, cook for 10mins on both side in medium flame until in a dry gravy consistency.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Rasam.
