Sea Bass Fish Curry / Koduva Meen Kuzhambu

Ingredients :

Sea Bass Fish Curry / Koduva Meen Kuzhambu

Sea Bass / Koduva - 1 no (cleaned)
Small Onion - 15 nos (chopped)
Tomato - 2 nos (chopped)
Green Chili - 3 nos 
Garlic - 8 nos
Coconut Paste - 3 tbsp
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Seeds Powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Tamarind Water - 1 cup (2" ball size)
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp
Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves - 1 stks
Water - 2 cups
Oil - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste.

Method :

Sea Bass Fish Curry / Koduva Meen Kuzhambu

  • Heat Oil in a Pan, first to temper, add Mustard Seeds, Urad Dal and Fenugreek, after splutter add Onion, Garlic and Curry Leaves, saute until light golden colour.
  • Add Tomato and Green Chili saute until tomato smash well.
  • Add Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder and Turmeric Powder, saute until raw smell leaves.

Sea Bass Fish Curry / Koduva Meen Kuzhambu

  • Now add Tamarind Water and Coconut Paste, saute for an minute.
  • Then add Water, bring to boil, close the lid and cook for 5mins.
  • Then add Fish pieces, again close the lid and cook for 5mins until Oil Separates.
