Soft Fried Tongue Sole Fish / Naaku Meen Varuval


Ingredients :

Soft Fried Tongue Sole Fish / Naaku Meen Varuval

Tongue Sole / Naaku Meen - 7 to 8 pieces
Besan Flour / Kadalai Maavu - 1/4 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste.

To Marinate : (1 hour)

Cashewnut Powder - 2 tsp
Red Chili Powder - 2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger and Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1/2 no
Egg White - 1 no

Method :

Soft Fried Tongue Sole Fish / Naaku Meen Varuval

  • First Marinate Fish Pieces with mentioned ingredients for an hour.
  • Then roll marinated Fish pieces in Besan Flour.

  • Finally Shallow fry them with Oil until golden brown colour and crispy. Ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Andhra Style Hot & Sour Fish Curry.
