Mint Flavoured Fish Fry / Pudina Meen Varuval


Ingredients :

Mint Flavoured Fish Fry / Pudina Meen Varuval

Barracuda Fish / Seela Meen - 250 gm
Mint Leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Dry Red Chili - 5 nos
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cornflour - 3 tsp
Egg - 1/2 no (+ or -)
Vinegar - 2 tsp
Oil for fry
Salt to taste.

Method :

Mint Flavoured Fish Fry / Pudina Meen Varuval

  • First Boil Red Chili for 5mins, then grind into paste with Vinegar and required Water.

  • Then Marinate Fish pieces with all ingredients except Oil for 1/2 an hour.
  • Then shallow fry in Oil until golden brown colour on both side and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Rasam or Fish Curry
