Cabbage Rolls Stuffed with Mutton Keema Recipe | Cabbage Rolls with Meat Keema Stuff Recipe


Ingredients :

Cabbage Rolls Stuffed with Mutton Keema Recipe | Cabbage Rolls with Meat Keema Stuff Recipe

Cabbage Leaves - 6 to 8 nos
Thread - optional 

For Stuff :

Meat / Mutton Keema - 1 cup
Basmathi Rice - 1/4 cup (soaked for 15mins)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Green Chili - 2 nos (finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves - 2 tsp (finely chopped)
Salt to Taste. 

For Gravy :

Onion Paste - 1 cup 
Tomato Puree - 1 cup
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Butter - 2 tbsp
Water - 1 and 1/2 cup
Fresh Cream - 2 tbsp
Salt to Taste.

Method :

  • First blanch Cabbage in boiling water for 2mins, drain water and keep aside.
  • In a bowl, combine mentioned stuff ingredients, mix well.
  • Then make Cabbage rolls with meat stuff (use thread to avoid opening) and keep aside.

  • To make gravy, heat Butter in a Kadai / Pan, add Onion Paste and saute until light golden brown colour.
  • Then add Tomato Puree and saute until Butter separate from gravy.
  • Add Red Chili Powder, Coriander Seeds Powder, Cumin Seeds Powder, Garam Masala, Turmeric Powder and required Salt, saute until raw smell leaves.

  • Now add Water and bring to boil.
  • Add stuffed Cabbage Rolls, cook for 20mins in simmer on both side, stirring occasionally.
  • Finally add Fresh Cream on gravy mix well and ready to serve.
