Steamed Chocolate & Orange Custard Caramel Pudding - Pressure Cooked


Chocolate & Orange Custard Caramel Pudding


Ingredients :

Chocolate & Orange Custard Caramel Pudding

Milk - 200ml
Dark Chocolate - 50 gm
Orange zest - 2 tsp (finely grated)
Egg - 1 no
Egg Yolk - 1 no
Sugar - 2 tsp

For Caramel :

Sugar - 2 tbsp
Water - 2 tsp

Method :

Chocolate & Orange Custard Caramel Pudding

  • First boil Milk, add Dark Chocolate and Orange Zest, stir until Chocolate melt and set aside until cool.
  • Meanwhile in a separate bowl, whisk Egg and Sugar, until light and strain it.
  • Now add Egg into Milk-Chocolate mixture, mix well and keep aside.

  • To Caramelize Sugar, melt Sugar and Water, til becomes brown colour and charred, don't stir. Then pour into Aluminum mould and set aside for 5mins.

Chocolate & Orange Custard Caramel Pudding

  • Now pour Milk-Chocolate-Egg mixture over the caramel.
  • Then cover tightly with Aluminium foil.
  • Then Pressure cook (without weight) for 20mins in simmer.

  • Refrigerate it, un-mould it and ready to serve.
