Snake Gourd / Pudalangai - 250 gm (scraped, deseeded, chopped) Bengal Gram / Kadalai Paruppu - 1/4 cup Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp Curry Leaves - 2 stk Water - 1 and 1/2 cup Oil - 1 tbsp Salt to taste. To Roast and Grind into Paste : Urad Dal - 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp Green Chili - 4 nos Coconut - 1 tbsp (chopped). |

I went through a lot of kottu recipes.But this one is the closest to what my mother used to make.Thanks for sharing
