Crispy Raisins Butter Biscuits Flavoured With Rose Water



Ingredients : (14 pieces)

Crispy Raisins Butter Biscuits Flavoured With Rose Water

Maida - 1 cup (heaped)
Powdered Sugar - 1/3 cup
Unsalted Butter - 70 gm (room temperature)
Raisins - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Soda Bi Carbonate - 1/4 tsp (cooking soda)
Rose Essence / Water - 1/4 tsp / 1 tsp
Salt - 1 pinch

Method :

  • Sieve maida and soda, mix rainsins.

  • Beat butter and sugar together till light. Add essence and mix well.

  • Add sieved maida-rainsins mixture and mix well.

Crispy Raisins Butter Biscuits Flavoured With Rose Water

  • Shape into small balls and flat into about 7cm diameter and 1/4" thickness.
  • Place 1/2 of the cookies on butter greased baking tray, bake at 170 degree C at convection mode for 12min (+ or -) on low rack. When done, repeat with remaining cookies.

  • Cool the cookies completely and store in a airtight container. (cookies will be crispy after cooling).
