1st YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
EGG - LESS CHOCOLATE CAKE
For Eggless Chocolate Cake :
Maida / All Purpose Flour - 2 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
Curd - 1 cup (room temperature)
Unsalted Butter - 120 gm (room temperature)
Cocoa Powder - 1/2 cup
Baking Powder - 2 tsp (i used 1 and 1/2 tsp)
Soda-Bi-Carbonate - 1/2 tsp
Milk - 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup
Salt - pinch.
For Cocoa Butter Icing :
Butter - 100 gm
Icing Sugar - 200 to 250 gm
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Cocoa Powder - 50 gm (+ or -) |
Method :
Preparation :
- Grease a microwave safe dish (round or square) and keep aside.
- Sieve the maida along with cocoa, soda-bi-carbonate, baking powder and salt for 2 to 3times.
Steps To Make The Eggless Chocolate Cake :
- Beat the butter and sugar till creamy, add curd and beat until creamy and fluffy. (Image 1 and 2)
- Mix the sieved maida-mixture (Image 3) and beaten curd-mixture, add the milk and mix it gradually.
- Pour in the greased microwave safe dish. (Image 4)

- Microwave for 15 mins (+ or -) at 50% power or until done.
- Test the cake by inserting a tooth pick in the center, it should comes out clean.
- Invert the cake and cool on rack.

- Decorate with butter icing or fondant icing and serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve with Ice-cream. |
