Paneer Butter Masala 2 | பனீர் பட்டர் மசாலா 2



Ingredients :

Paneer Butter Masala 2 | பனீர் பட்டர் மசாலா 2

Paneer - 250 gm (click here : How To Make Homemade Paneer)
Onion - 2 no (chopped, paste)
Tomato - 3 no (chopped, paste)
Ginger - 1 "
Garlic - 7 clove
Cashew-nut - 20 no (blanched 10min, paste)
Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Fennel Seeds Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 3/4 tsp
Kasoori Methi - 1 tbsp (crushed)
Fresh Cream - 3 tbsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Water - 1 and 1/4 cup (+ or -)
Salt to Taste.

Steps To Make Paneer Butter Masala 2 :
  • Heat butter in a kadai, add onion paste and saute til the onion becomes light golden colour.
  • Add in ginger garlic paste and saute til its raw smell leaves.
  • Add tomato paste and saute til its water has reduced completely. (shown in image 3 and 4)

  • Add red chili powder, cumin seeds powder, fennel seeds powder, garam masala, pepper powder and turmeric powder, saute til its raw smell leaves.
  • Add cashew-nut paste, stir well for few seconds.

  • Pour water and add required salt, mix well and bring to boil.
  • Add paneer pieces / Indian cottage cheese and cook for 5min in medium flame.
  • Add fresh cream and sugar, mix well.
  • Finally add kasoori methi and a tsp of butter, mix well and remove from the flame, ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Poori, Chapathi or Naan.
