Ingredients :

Cocoa-Thina-Kelvargu Laddu | Cocoa Millets Laddoo | தினை கேழ்வரகு லட்டு

Cocoa Powder - 1/2 cup
Kelvaragu / Ragi / Finger Millet Flour - 1/2 cup
Thinai / Foxtail Millet Flour - 1/2 cup
Rava / Semolina - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cardamom - 3 no
Badam / Almonds - 20 no
Cashew-nuts - 20 no
Ghee - required

Method :

Steps To Make Cocoa Thinai Kelvaragu Laddu :
  • Dry roast the kelvaragu, rava and thinai separately in hot tawa til the nice aroma arise, approximately saute for about 2 to 3minute in simmer and keep altogether in a bowl. (Image 1, 2  and 3)
  • Also dry roast the almond and cashew-nuts for few seconds and keep aside. (Image 4)

  • Grind the sugar and cardamom into fine powder. (Image 7)
  • Then grind the roasted almonds and cashew-nuts into coarsely powder. (Image 8)

  • Combine roasted kelvaragu, rava, thinai, sugar powder, nuts powder and cocoa, mix well. (Image 9)
  • Add required melted ghee, mix well and make small balls, ready to serve. (Image 10)
  • Store in a air-tight container.

Serving Suggestion : Serve with Kuthiraivali Murukku or Crispy Butter Murukku.
