Konda Kadalai Vadai | கொண்டக்கடலை வடை | Chickpeas Vada



Ingredients :

Konda Kadalai Vadai | கொண்டக்கடலை வடை | Chickpeas Vada

Konda Kadalai \ Chickpeas - 1cup (soaked overnight)
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (chopped)
Fennel Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 1 clove
Lemon Juice - 1/2 no
Thick Curd - 1 tbsp
Sesame Seeds - 1 tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup
Salt to Taste
Oil for fry.

Method :

Konda Kadalai Vadai | கொண்டக்கடலை வடை | Chickpeas Vada

Steps To Make Konda Kadalai Vadai :
  • Drain the soaked chickpeas and dry them thoroughly.
  • Grind all ingredients into coarsely paste, except oil. (shown in above image 1 and 2)
  • Divide them into 10 to 12 balls and flat into circle. (Image 3)

  • Heat 1cm of oil in a kadai \ frying pan and fry the vadais til golden brown colour on both sides and ready to serve. (Image 4 and 5)

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Coconut Chutney.
