Paneer Bhatura | பனீர் பூரி | Paneer Stuffed Poori



Ingredients : (5 to 6 no)

Paneer Bhatura | பனீர் பூரி | Paneer Stuffed Poori

For Dough :

Maida - 1 and 1/2 cup
Curd - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1 tsp
Soda - 1 pinch 
Ghee - 2 tsp
Salt to Taste.
 
For Stuff :

Paneer / Indian Cottage Cheese - 1/2 cup (grated)
Onion - 1/2 no (finely chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Garlic - 5 cloves (grated)
Garlic - 1" (grated)
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt to Taste.

Method :

Steps To Make Dough :
  •  In a bowl, combine all ingredients and knead into soft dough, if the dough is too hard and dry, add little water. (Image 1)
  • Set aside for 30min. (Image 2)

Steps To Make Paneer Stuff :
  • Heat oil in a kadai \ frying pan, add onion and green chili, saute til golden colour. (Image 3)
  • Add ginger, garlic and required salt, saute til the raw smell leaves. (Image 4)
  • Add coriander leaves and saute for few seconds. (Image 5)
  • Add paneer and again saute for few seconds. (Image 6)
  • Remove from the flame and allow to cool. (Image 7)

Steps To Make Paneer Bhatura :
  • Divide the dough into 5 or 6 equal parts.
  • Take a dough, flat it into small circle, stuff a tablespoon of paneer, bring all the sides together and seal it. (Image 8 and 9)
  • Roll out into thick poori by dusting maida. (Image 10)
  • Deep fry in hot oil on both sides and ready to serve. (Image 11)

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Paneer Butter Masala or Chickpea Gravy.
