Ingredients : (8 to 10 nos)

Idiyappam

Ragi Flour - 1 and 1/2 cup
Oil - 2 tsp
Water - required
Salt to taste.

Method :

Idiyappam

Steps To Make Kelvaragu Idiyappam :
  • To make the idiyappam dough, first dry roast the kelvaragu \ ragi flour in a heavy bottom kadhai for about one minute in simmer or til the aroma arise and allow to cool completely. (Image 1)
  • Mix the roasted flour with the oil, required salt and required boiling water, mix well and make soft dough. (Image 2 and 3)

Idiyappam

  • To steam the idiyappam, grease one or more idly plates with vegetable oil.
  • Fill the dough in idiyappam maker, make idiyappam on the plates and keep aside. (Image 4)
  • Boil two inches of water into idly pan and arrange the idly plates. (Image 5)
  • Steam it for 10 mins in simmer. (Image 6)
  • Then remove from the plates and ready to serve. (Image 7)

Idiyappam

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Fresh Coconut Milk and Sugar.
