Paneer Coconut Laddu | பனீர் தேங்காய் லட்டு | Indian Cottage Cheese and Coconut Sweet Balls



Ingredients :

Paneer Coconut Laddu | பனீர் தேங்காய் லட்டு | Indian Cottage Cheese and Coconut Sweet Balls

Paneer \ Indian Cottage Cheese - 2 cups (grated)
Coconut Shreds - 1 cup
Almond and Cashews - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Cardamom - 1 tsp (crushed or powder)
Sugar - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp

Method :

Steps To Make Paneer Laddu :
  • Heat ghee in a kadai \ frying pan, roast the almonds and cashew-nuts and keep aside. (Image 1)
  • Add coconut and saute til the coconut becomes light brown colour. (Image 2 and 3)
  • Add paneer and saute for few seconds. (Image 4)

  • Add sugar and saute til its melts. (Image 5)
  • Pour milk, mix well and cook over simmer til the moisture has reduced completely. (Image 6)
  • Add roasted nuts and mix well. (Image 7)
  • Finally add cardamom powder, mix well and remove from the flame. (Image 8)
  • Allow to cool little and make laddu (small balls) while warm and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve with Crispy Kuthiraivali Murukku (Barnyard Millet).
