Ingredients :

Potato Sago Vada | உருளைக்கிழங்கு ஜவ்வரிசி வடை | Urulai Kizhangu Javvarisi Vadai

Potatoes - 2 no (boiled, skin peeled)
Javvarisi \ Sago - 1 cup (soaked 3 hours, drained)
Asafoetida - 1/8 tsp
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Green Chili - 2 no (finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Curry Leaves - 2 stk
Oil for deep fry
Salt to Taste.

Steps To Make Potato Sago Vadai :
  • In a mixing bowl, smash the boiled potatoes without lumps. (Image 1)
  • Add all remaining ingredients and mix well. (Image 2 and 3)
  • Divide the dough into 15 balls (+ or -) and flat into circle about 1/4" thickness. (Image 4)

  • Deep fry in hot oil til golden brown colour and ready to serve. (Image 5 and 6)

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with Tomato Ketchup.
