Cashews Chilli Chicken Fry | Munthiri Milagaai Kozhi Kari Varuval

Chicken - 250 gm (boneless, 2" size)
Cashew-nuts - 10 no (blanched) + 10 no
Dry Red Chili - 4 no (blanched)
Green Chili - 2 no (chopped, 2" long)
Onion - 1 no (small, finely chopped)
Ginger - 1" long
Garlic - 6 cloves + 3 cloves (crushed)
Lemon Juice - 1/2 no
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Curry Leaves - 1 stk
Oil - 1 tbsp + shallow fry
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make Marinate and Chicken Fry :
- Grind the blanched cashews, blanched red chili, ginger, garlic, lemon juice and required salt. (Image 1 and 2)
- Marinate the chicken pieces with ground paste for 30minutes in refrigerator. (Image 3)
- After marinate, mix the chicken with corn flour. (Image 4)
- Shallow fry them in hot oil at small batches till golden brown colour and keep aside. (Image 5 and 6)

Steps To Make The Cashews Chilli Chicken Fry :
- Heat oil in a kadai \ frying pan, fry the cashew-nuts. (Image 7)
- Add in the onion, green chili and curry leaves, saute till the onion becomes light brown colour. (Image 8)
- Add the crushed garlic and required salt, saute till its raw smell leaves. (Image 9)
- Add the fried chicken pieces and saute for an minute. (Image 10)
- Finally add the coriander leaves, saute for few seconds and ready to serve. (Image 11 and 12)

Serve hot with any Biryani or Pulav. |
