Ingredients :

Pineapple \ Annachi Pazham Halwa | Ugadi \ Telugu NewYear Special
Pineapple Puree - 1 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Khoya - 1/2 cup (crumbled or grated)
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Cashew-nuts - 15 no

Steps To Make The Pineapple Halwa \ Annachi Pazham Halwa :

  • Heat a tablespoon of ghee in a non-stick pan, roast the cashew-nuts and keep aside. (Image 1)
  • Add the pineapple puree and cook for 5mins over simmer to medium flame, stirring frequently. (Image 2)
  • Then add the crumbled \ grated khoya, mix well and saute for 2 to 3mins. (Image 3)
  • Add the sugar and cook till the sugar dissolved completely. (Image 4)
  • Add the remaining ghee little by little and saute till the pineapple mixture comes together ie., halwa consistency. (Image 5)
  • Finally add the ghee roasted cashew-nuts, mix well and remove from the flame and ready (Image 6)
