Pineapple Puree - 1 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Khoya - 1/2 cup (crumbled or grated)
Ghee - 1/4 cup
Cashew-nuts - 15 no |
Steps To Make The Pineapple Halwa \ Annachi Pazham Halwa :
- Heat a tablespoon of ghee in a non-stick pan, roast the cashew-nuts and keep aside. (Image 1)
- Add the pineapple puree and cook for 5mins over simmer to medium flame, stirring frequently. (Image 2)
- Then add the crumbled \ grated khoya, mix well and saute for 2 to 3mins. (Image 3)
- Add the sugar and cook till the sugar dissolved completely. (Image 4)
- Add the remaining ghee little by little and saute till the pineapple mixture comes together ie., halwa consistency. (Image 5)
- Finally add the ghee roasted cashew-nuts, mix well and remove from the flame and ready (Image 6)
