Fresh Hung Curd - 3/4 cup (for 1 hour)
Homemade Condensed Milk - 1/2 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp (or Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp)
Nuts - 1/4 cup or (tutty fruity - 1/4 cup)

Method :

Steps To Make The Bhapa Doi \ Steamed Sweet Curd \ Indian Cheese Cake :

  • In a bowl, combine the hung curd, homemade condensed milk and cardamom powder. (Image 1)
  • Then blend well by using hand blender or mixi. (Image 2)
  • Add the nuts or tutty fruit and mix well. (Image 3)
  • Transfer the curd mixture into the aluminum bowl. (Image 4)

  • Cover the bowl with aluminum foil and steam in a idly pan for 25 to 30 minutes over simmer. (Image 5)
  • Then cool completely and refrigerate 30minutes, De-mold and serve chill. (Image 6)
