Mini Apple Pie
Prep Time: 10 minutes + chilling

Large Apple - 1 no
Maida - 100 gm
Frozen Butter - 50 gm + 1 tbsp
Brown Sugar - 2 to 3 tbsp
Cinnamon Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ice Cold Water - required
Salt - 1/8 tsp
Beaten Egg - 1 no |
Steps To Make The Apple Pie :
- To prepare the dough, sift the flour with salt and mix with chilled butter in a bowl. (Image 1 and 2)
- Then add the required ice cold water and knead into soft dough, wrap and refrigerator for 30minutes. (Image 3)
- To prepare the filling, peel the apple and slice thinly or chop finely. (Image 4)
- Then melt the butter in the microwave and add the apple, brown sugar, cinnamon stick and pinch of salt, mix well and microwave for 4 to 5minutes till tender. Keep aside to cool. (Image 5 and 6)

- To make the apple pie, divide the chilled dough into 4 parts, roll the dough out between the plastic sheet, line the pie dish and trim edge, reverse the remaining dough to cover the outer layer (Image 7)
- Fill it with prepared apple filling (Image 8)
- Cover with outer layer and press the edges together. Beat the egg and brush it on the pie. (Image 9)
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30minutes at 200 degree Celsius on convection mode.
