Ingredients :

Pumpkin | Parangikai | Manjal Poosanikai Poriyal -Kadhai Stir Fry
Parangikai \ Pumpkin - 250 gm (1" cube)
Onion - 1 no (chopped)
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1/4 no
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to Taste.

Method :

Steps To Make The Parangikai Poriyal - Kadhai Method :

  • Heat oil in a kadhai, temper the mustard seeds and urad dal, after splutter add in the onion and saute till soft. (Image 1)
  • Then add the parangikai \ pumpkin and cook for about 10mins over simmer, stirring frequently. (Image 2)
  • Stir in the red chilli powder, cumin seeds powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida and required salt for 5mins (+ or -). (Image 3)
  • Finally squeeze the lemon juice, mix altogether and ready to serve. (Image 4)
