Ingredients :

Simple Mutton Keema Pulav with CoconutMilk - Pressure Cook Method
Mutton \ Meat Keema - 1/2 cup
Basmathi Rice - 1 cup (soaked 15mins)
Shallots - 1/4 cup
Garlic - 7 cloves
Mint Leaves - 1/4 cup
Green Chilli - 2 no (slit)
Cloves - 3 no
Cinnamon Stick - 2" long
Coconut Milk - 1 and 1/2 cup
Meat Fat - 2 tbsp
Butter - 1 tsp
Salt to Taste.

Method :

Steps To Make Simple Mutton Keema Pulav :

  • Heat the chicken fat and butter in a pressure cooker pan, till the fat releases its own oil. Then roast the cloves and cinnamon stick. (Image 1)
  • Add in the shallots, garlic and green chilli, saute for an minute. (Image 2)
  • Add in the mutton \ meat keema and required salt, saute till its moisture reduced. (Image 3)
  • Add in the mint leaves and saute for few seconds. (Image 4)

  • Add the soaked basmathi rice and mix well. (Image 5)
  • Pour the coconut milk, mix all and bring to boil. (Image 6 and 7)
  • Pressure cook for 1 whistle and 3mins over simmer. Once steam released, open the pressure cooker pan, mix all together and ready to serve. (Image 8)
