Ingredients :

Chicken - 250 gm (chopped)
Basmathi Rice - 1 and 1/2 cup (soaked 15mins)
Coconut Milk - 2 and 1/4 cup
Shallots - 1/2 cup
Green Chilli - 3 no (slit)
Garlic - 7 cloves
Mint Leaves - 1/4 cup
Cloves - 5 no
Cinnamon Stick - 2 " long
Ghee \ Butter - 2 tbsp
Salt to Taste.

Steps To Make The Chicken Pulav :

  • In a pressure cooker pan, heat the ghee \ butter, roast the cloves and cinnamon stick. (Image 1)
  • Stir in the shallots and green chilli till the shallots becomes light brown colour. (Image 2)
  • Add in the chicken pieces and saute till the chicken moisture reduced completely. (Image 3)
  • Add the soaked basmathi rice and saute for few seconds. (Image 4)

  • Add the mint leaves and again saute for few seconds. (Image 5)
  • Pour the coconut milk, mix altogether and add required salt. (Image 6)
  • Bring to boil, cover the lid and cook for 1 whistle and 3mins over simmer. (Image 7 and 8)
  • Once all the steam has reduced completely, open the pressure cooker pan, mix all and ready to serve. (Image 8)
