Prawn keema - 1 cup
Shallots - 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Green Chilli - 1 no (finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Corn flour - 2 tbsp
Salt to Taste.

Onion Paste - 1 no
Tomato Paste - 2 no
Cashew-nuts Paste - 1/4 cup (blanched, paste)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Kasoori Methi - 1 tbsp
Water - 1 and 1/2 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to Taste.

Steps To Make The Prawn \ Eraal Kofta :

  • Combine the prawn with onion, ginger garlic paste, green chilli, coriander leaves and required salt, mix well. (Image 1)
  • Then add the cornflour (+ or -), mix well and make small balls (1 and 1/2 inch size). (Image 3 and 4)
  • Then deep fry in the hot oil till golden brown colour and keep aside. (Image 5 and 6)

Steps To Make The Prawn \ Eraal Kofta Gravy :

  • Heat oil in a hot kadhai \ pan, saute the onion paste till translucent. (Image 7)
  • Add in the ginger garlic paste and saute till its raw smell leaves. (Image 8)
  • Pour the tomato paste, saute until its moisture reduced. (Image 9)
  • Then add the red chilli powder, cumin seeds powder and turmeric powder, saute for few seconds. (Image 10)

  • Add the cashew-nut paste, water and required salt, mix well and bring to boil. Cook for 3 to 5mins over simmer or till the masala raw smell leaves completely. (Image 12)
  • Add the fried prawn koftas, bring to little boil and remove from the flame. (Image 13)
  • Then sprinkle kasoori methi and ready to serve. (Image 14)
