Very Simple and Easy Squid \ Calamari Fry | Kadambaa Meen Varuval

Serves: 2 persons |
Squid \ Kanavai \ Kadamba - 6 tubes (sliced into 1/4 inch rings)
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1
Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Salt to Taste
Oil for deep fry. |
Steps To Make The Squid \ Kanavai \ Kadamba Fry :
- First pat the squid rings to dry with paper towel.
- Mix the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, ginger garlic paste and salt with the squid. (Image 1 and 2)
- Then toss the squid in cornflour until full dusted (Image 3 and 4) and shaking off any excess flour.

- Heat the oil in a kadhai, add the squid rings and cook until golden brown colour. (Image 5)
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with alioli or mayonnaise. |
