Healthy Breakfast Kambu Puttu | Bajra \ Pearl Millet Puttu Recipe

Kambu \ Bajra \ Pearl Millet Puttu - 2 cup
Jaggery Powder - 1/4 cup
Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
Cashew nuts - 10 no
Crushed Cardamom - 2 pods
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Water - required
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make The Kambu \ Bajra \ Pearl Millet Puttu :
- To make the puttu flour, dry roast the kambu flour in a heavy bottom kadhai and allow to cool. (Image 1)
- Then mix with the required salt, then mix with the required water little by little until in a crumble texture. (Image 2 and 3)
- To steam, heat two centimeter of water in a idly pan, place the top plate and cover it by wet cloth. (Image 4)

- Then spread the prepared puttu flour over the cloth evenly. (Image 5)
- Fold the extra cloth. (Image 6)
- Then steam for 15mins over medium flame. (Image 7 and 8)

- To make the puttu, transfer the steamed puttu in to the mixing bowl. (Image 9)
- Mix with jaggery, coconut and cardamaom. (Image 10 and 11)
- Finally add the ghee roasted cashews, mix well and ready to serve.

Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with the Banana. |
