Nethili Meen \ Anchovies - 350 gm
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Crushed Ginger Garlic - 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1/2 no
Besan Flour \ Kadalai Maavu - 1/4 cup
Oil for deep fry
Salt to Taste. |
Steps To Make The Nethili Meen Varuval \ Anchovies Fry :
- To marinate, mix the nethili meen, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic and salt, and marinate for 10 to 15mins. (Image 1 and 2)
- Heat enough oil to deep fry the fishes.
- Meantime, sprinkle the besan flour \ kadalai maavu on the marinated fishes and mix gently. (Image 3 and 4)
- Then deep fry the fishes in a small batches till golden colour on all sides, drain the oil and ready to serve. (Image 5 and 6)
