Ingredients :

Cake
All Purpose Flour \ Maida - 1 cup
Butter - 80 gm (room temperature)
Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
Egg - 3 no (room temperature)
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Mixed Fruits Jam - 2 tbsp
Caramel Syrup - 3 tbsp
All Spice Powder - 1 tsp (cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace)
Baking Powder - 1 tsp

Mixed Dry Fruits and Nuts :


Tutti Fruitti - 1/4 cup
Raisins - 1/4 cup
Toasted Badam \ Almonds - 1/4 cup
Black Dates - 1/4 cup

Method :

Preparation :

Grease and dust the baking cake dish with butter and flour, and keep aside. Dust the dry fruits and nuts with a tablespoon of flour and keep aside. Sieve the flour with baking powder and all spice powder for 2 to 3times and keep aside.

Steps To Make The Fruits Cake :

Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius. To make the fruits cake batter, beat the butter and sugar till light and creamy in a mixing bowl. Beat in the eggs one by one until well combined.

Add in the vanilla essence, mixed fruits jam and caramel syrup, and beat till combined. Fold in the sieved flour mixture gently. Finally add the dry fruits and nuts, mix gently and batter is ready. Pour the batter in the prepared tin and bake for 30 to 35min. Test a cake by inserting a tooth pick in the middle, it should comes out clean. Then remove the cake from the oven, cool for 10mins and invert the cake on wire rack and cool completely and ready to serve.
