Crispy Oats Sheer Fish Fry | Moru Moru Oats Vanjaram Meen Varuval

Vanjaram Meen \ Seer Fish - 500 gm (1/2" thickness)
Salt - required
Lemon Juice - 1/2 no
Red Chilli Powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
Coriander Seeds Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Corn flour -2 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Egg White - 1 no
Oats - 1/2 cup (+ or -)
Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
Oil - required. |
Steps To Make The Vanjaram Meen Varuval :
- First marinate the fish pieces with the lemon juice and salt for 5mins. (Image 1)
- Then mix with the red chilli powder, coriander seeds powder, cumin seeds powder, turmeric powder, cornflour and ginger garlic paste. (Image 2 and 3)
- Then mix with the egg white. (Image 4)
- For outer layer, separately mix the oats with red chilli powder and little salt.
- Roll the masala fish pieces in the oats mixture and press gently. (Image 5)
- Shallow fry it till crispy on all sides and ready to serve. (Image 6)
