Carrot Thinai Dosai

Ingredients :

Grated Carrot - 3 nos
Thinai \ Foxtail Millet Dosai Batter - 3 cups (or usual dosai batter)
Green Chilli - 1 or 2 nos (finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves - 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
Curry Leaves - 2 stk
Salt to Taste.

Method :

Steps To Make The Carrot Thinai Dosai :

  • In a mixing bowl, mix the thinai dosai batter and carrot, green chilli, coriander leaves, curry leaves and required salt. (Image 1 and 2) If the batter is too thick, mix some water.
  • To make the carrot thinai dosai, heat a iron tawa, pour a large ladle of prepared batter in the center, spread into thin circle and drizzle a teaspoon of oil. (Image 3)
  • Cover and cook over simmer. (Image 4)
  • When the side turn brown color, flip and cook till done. (Image 5 and 6)
  • Do the same for the remaining batter and ready to serve.
Serving Suggestion : Serve hot with the Sambar and Coconut Chutney.
