Ingredients :

Mutton Tawa Kebab
Mutton Keema | Minced Goat Meat - 1 cup
Cinnamon Stick - 2" long
Cloves - 4 no
Pepper - 1 tbsp
Dry Red Chili - 1 or 2 no
Ginger - 1" piece
Garlic cloves - 2 no
Shallots - 10 to 12 nos
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
Green Papaya Paste - 2 tbsp
Bread Crumbs - 1/4 cup
Beaten Egg - 1 no
Oil or Butter - required
Salt To Taste.

Method :

Steps To Make The Mutton Kebab :

  • To make the kebab masala, first grind the cinnamon stick, cloves and dry red chili coarsely. (Image 1 and 2)
  • Add in the ginger, garlic, shallots and coriander leaves, grind into paste. (Image 3 and 4)

  • To make the kebab mixture, combine the mutton keema, ground kebab masala, green papaya, bread crumbs and required beaten egg in a mixing bowl. Mix well and rest the kebab mixture for about 30minutes. (Image 5 and 6)

  • To make the kebab, apply some oil on both the hands, using one or two skewers, make kebab of 8 to 10 inches and flat it. (Image 7)
  • Then shallow fry the kebab on hot tawa with required oil or butter, cook over medium flame until turns golden brown colour on both sides and ready to serve. (Image 8 and 9)
  • Do the same for the remaining kebab mixture.

Serving Suggestion: Serve hot with Naan and Layered Parotta.
