Ingredients :

Boneless Chicken - 1 cup (small pieces)
Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
Onion Powder - 1 tsp
Mixed Herbs - 1 tsp
Chili Powder or Chili Flakes - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1/2 tsp
Egg - 1 no
Cornflakes - 1 cup (+ or -)
Oil for deep fry
Salt to Taste.

Steps To Make The Crunchy Chicken Popcorn :

  • To marinate, combine the chicken pieces, garlic powder, onion powder, mixed herbs, chili powder, pepper powder, lemon juice and required salt in a mixing bowl. Marinate for about thirty minutes. (Image 1 and 2)

  • In a bowl, beat an egg with little salt. Also separately crush the corn flakes by using roll pin and keep aside. (Image 3)
  • To make the crunchy chicken popcorn, dip the some marinated chicken pieces in the beaten egg and roll on cornflakes. (Image 4, 5 and 6)

  • Then deep fry the rolled chicken pieces in the hot oil until golden brown colour. (Image 7)
  • Drain the excess oil by using tissue paper and serve.
  • Do the same for the remaining chicken pieces.
