Ingredients :

mutton milagu pepper sukka
Mutton | Goat Meat - 350 gm
Pepper | Milagu - 2 tbsp
Crushed Ginger - 1 tsp
Crushed Garlic - 1 tsp
Sambar Onion | Shallots - 1\2 cup (chopped)
Small Tomato - 1 no (chopped)
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp
Gingelly Oil - 2 tbsp
Crystal Salt - as required.

Method :

Steps To Make The Mutton Pepper Sukka | Goat Meat Pepper Sukka:

  • Dry roast the pepper in a hot kadhai, cool completely and grind into powder. (Image 1 and 2)
  • To make the mutton pepper sukka, heat the oil in a pressure cooker pan and stir in the ginger and garlic for few seconds. (Image 3)
  • Add in the shallots and saute until the shallots turns slightly golden colour. (Image 4)
  • Add in the tomato and saute for an minute. (Image 5)
  • Add in the mutton pieces and turmeric powder, saute until its moisture reduced. (Image 6)

  • Add in the pepper powder and required salt, mix well. (Image 7)
  • Add in the cup of water, mix well and bring to boil. (Image 8)
  • Cover and pressure cook for an whistle and 20 minutes over simmer. When all the steam has released, open the pan. (Image 9)
  • Then cook till thick and little dry. Read to serve. (Image 10)
