Ingredients :

Mutton Tawa Kebab
Mutton | Goat Meat - 250 gm (boneless)
Cinnamon Stick - 1" long
Cloves - 2 no
Onion - 1\2 no + 1\2 no (finely chopped)
Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
Crushed Ginger - 1 tsp
Crushed Garlic - 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder - 3\4 tsp
Cumin Seeds Powder - 1\2 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1\4 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp
Mint Leaves - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Egg - 1 no
Oil - 2 tbsp + extra
Salt to Taste.

Method :

Steps To Make The Spicy Mutton Tawa Kebab:

  • Heat the oil in a pressure cooker pan, roast the cinnamon stick, cloves and fennel seeds. Add the onion and saute until the onion turns slightly golden colour. (Image 1)
  • Add the crushed ginger garlic and saute till its raw smell leaves completely. (Image 2)
  • Add the mutton | goat meat pieces and saute for about 2 minutes. (Image 3)
  • Add the red chili powder, cumin seeds powder, pepper powder , turmeric powder and required salt, mix well for an minute. (Image 4)
  • Add half a cup of water, mix well and bring to boil. (Image 5)
  • Cover and pressure cook for an whistle and 10 minutes over simmer. When all the steam has released, open the pan and cool the mutton mixture. (Image 6)

  • Then grind the mutton mixture. (Image 7 and 8)

  • To make the kebab mixture, combine the ground mutton mixture, onion, mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chili, egg and little salt, mix well altogether. (Image 9 and 10)
  • Then make kebab and cook till golden brown colour on both sides with required oil. (Image 11)
  • Serve hot.
