Ingredients :

Veg Bread Omelette
Bread Slices - 6 nos or more
Kadalai Maavu | Besan Flour - 1\2 cup
Large Onion - 1\2 no (finely chopped)
Green Chili - 1 no (finely chopped)
Turmeric Powder - 1\4 tsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp (finely chopped, optional)
Ghee or Butter - as required
Water - as required
Salt to Taste.

Steps To Make The Vegetarian Bread Omelette Recipe:

  • To make the veg omelette batter, combine the besan flour, onion, green chili, turmeric powder and required salt in a mixing bowl. (Image 1)
  • Mix well altogether. (Image 2)
  • Then add the required water (for about 3\4 cup of water), whisk well without lumps. (Image 3)

  • To make the veg bread omelette, dip the bread slices in the besan flour mixture for few seconds and toast on the hot kadhai with some butter or ghee. (Image 4 and 5)
  • Cook on both sides until golden brown spots appear. (Image 6)
  • Do the same for the remaining bread slices and serve hot.
