Fried Ice Cream Dessert - Specialty of this dessert is crispy shell outside and cold ice cream inside. It is made with the main ingredients of vanilla ice cream, maida, bread crumbs and egg. Instead of vanilla ice cream you can also use butterscotch or any flavor. If you like more crunchy fried ice cream means use cornflakes. Ingredients :

Fried Ice Cream
Ice Cream - 2 cup (Vanilla or any ice cream)
Maida - 1 cup
Fresh Bread Crumbs - 1 cup
Egg - 2 no
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Oil For Deep Fry.
Method :

Steps To Make The Fried Ice Cream:

 

Scoop the ice cream into two inch balls or required size on a plate. Then roll the ice cream balls on maida and gently press to cover the maida all the sides and freeze for an hour. Separately beat the egg and vanilla essence in a bowl.

Dip the ice cream balls in the beaten egg and then quickly roll on bread crumbs. Then again freeze for an hour. To deep the ice cream, heat the required oil in a kadhai and deep fry the ice cream balls one or two at a time until golden colour and serve immediately.

My Notes: Ice cream will melts at room temperature, so freeze the ice cream for each coat of maida and bread crumbs.
Serving Suggestion: Serve the fried ice cream with the melted chocolate and whipped cream.
