About The Recipe:

Deepavali | Diwali Special - Healthy and Tasty Dry Fruits And Nuts Ladoo Recipe is made with easily available ingredients of cashews, badams, pistachios, raisins, black dates and fig. Flavored with cardamom. I also used ghee to roast all the dry fruits and nuts for good flavor and little crunchiness. This ladoo is very easy to make and it take only 10 to 15 minutes to make. Now lets see how to make this special ladoo with easy step by step images and instructions.

Ingredients :

Munthiri | Cashews - 1\4 cup
Badam | Almonds - 1\4 cup
Pista | Pistachios - 1\4 cup
Raisins - 1\4 cup
Black Dates - 1\4 cup (seed-less)
Athti | Fig - 1\4 cup (cut into small pieces)
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Ghee - 6 tsp
Honey - required (optional)
Method :

Steps To Make The Dry Fruits And Nuts Laddo Recipe:

Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a kadhai and roast the cashews till slightly golden colour and keep aside.
Similarly roast the pista, badam, dates, fig and raisins separately with a teaspoon of ghee. Then cool all the roasted ingredients.
To make the ladoo mixture, first grind the dates, fig and raisins into coarsely or pulse for 3 to 4 times and keep aside. Then pulse the cashew, badam and pista into coarsely.
Add the dates-fig-raisins mixture and cardamom powder, pulse little to combined altogether. Transfer into a plate and make ladoo by pressing gently. If you can not make ladoo means, add some honey, mix well and make ladoo. Now the ladoos are ready.
My Notes: I'm not used honey. Because dates, raisins and figs contains enough moisture to make ladoo so if you can not make ladoo balls means add required honey.
Serving Suggestion: Serve the dry fruits and nuts ladoo with murukku.
